WALTER MACARTHUR HYDE

Age 56.

Passed away suddenly on Friday, October 15, 2021.

Beloved father of Lauren, Devin, and Ryan; dear grandfather of Sophia and Liam; devoted son of Fran and Michael Mihna Jr.; loving brother of Jeanine Posey, Michael Mihna III, and Regina Carlisle (Calvin).

U.S. Army Veteran.

Walter was an avid reader, movie lover, fierce debater, and talented chef. His quick wit, generosity, sense of humor and culinary skills were enjoyed by many.

In recent years, Walter was a champion for Slavic Village, where he lived and ran a business. He was fondly called the Mayor of Slavic Village. Many will miss his conversation, wisdom, jokes, hugs and laugh.

We hope he’s serving barbecue and ice cream in heaven.

Private family services were held, a public celebration of life will be held in the future.
