Age 87

Beloved wife of James R., Sr. (deceased); loving mother of Deborah Pratt (deceased)(Gary, surviving), Lucinda Bird (Derek), James, Jr. (Kathy), and Michael Addis; dear grandmother of David Pratt (Nikki), Jessica Pratt, Matthew Bird, Sarah Dunford (Andy), Rachel Brinton (Corey), and Emily Addis; great grandmother of Andrew and Justin Pratt, Hailey Sturgeon, Olivia and Quinn Dunford, and Margo Brinton.

Sylvia had her humble beginnings in West Virginia before she moved to Ohio and married her husband, Jim. Sylvia and Jim were married for 43 years and raised four children together. She loved spending time with her family and loved to tally up all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Sylvia also loved working and was truly a people person. She held various customer service roles throughout her lifetime where she greeted everyone with a warm smile and hello. When she wasn’t at work, she enjoyed taking care of her flowers and spent many nights playing bingo.

Sylvia loved sharing the stories of her life with her family and was without question a true caregiver to everyone she came into contact with and made everyone better for it.

Family will receive friends at the Mallchok Funeral Home, 5660 Ridge Road, Parma, OH on Monday, July 1, 2024 from 4 - 7 p.m. and on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 p.m.

Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
