Passed away at his residence on June 26, 2024.

Dearly beloved husband of Jennifer; loving father of Katelyn and Isaac; dearest son of Debra Balog and the late John Balog “Chico”; brother of David Slaton (Jaime) and Jodi Bond (Brian); dear uncle of Joshua, Maria, and Caleb Slaton; BJ and John Bond; loving nephew, cousin, and friend of many.

Family will receive friends at the Mallchok Funeral Home, 5660 Ridge Road, Parma, OH on Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 4 - 8 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 12, 2024 at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life will take place in Steve’s memory at the American Legion Clifton Post 421 Hall, 22001 Brookpark Road, Fairview Park, OH 44126 immediately following the burial from 1 – 6 p.m.
