Richard J. Shepard

Age 78, of Brunswick, Ohio.

He was born on April 12, 1947 and passed away peacefully on Friday, September 26, 2025.

Beloved husband of Beverly (nee Yanok) for 54 years; loving father of Kenneth Shepard (Bonnie), Matthew Shepard, and Michael Shepard (Yaz); dear grandfather of Charlie, Jenna, Colin, Mae, and Ameena; devoted son of George and Rita (nee Wallner) Shepard (both deceased); dear brother of Phillip, Lawrence, James (Ava), and Joseph (Kristine) and the following deceased: David (Juanita), John (Janet), and Charles.

He became a dear friend to those he met while exploring his genealogy and his family tree. He was a proud 1965 graduate of Cathedral Latin High School and a United States Army Vietnam Veteran.

Family will receive friends at the Mallchok Funeral Home, 5660 Ridge Road, Parma, OH on Monday, September 29, 2025 from 3 - 7 p.m.

Prayer Services Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Church at 11 a.m.

Interment with Military Honors will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
