Age 33

Passed away June 5, 2025.

Dearly beloved son of Stanley F. (deceased) and Patricia A. (nee Hamzik).  Caring brother of Monica.  Predeceased by his dad Stan, grandparents Thomas and Frances Hamzik, Stanley and Josephine Marecki, and godfather Richard Hamzik.  Left to mourn his loss are aunts and uncles Tom and Maureen Hamzik, Kathy Lambert and Dennis Mertz, Ann and Duane Frederick, Laurie Hamzik, and cousins Tommy (Paige), Br. Kevin OFM, and Mary Pat Hamzik, William, Lucas and Andrew Frederick and extended family and friends.

Matt was smart, funny, tough yet felt things deeply, a hard worker and loved to eat.  In many ways he experienced a lot in his short life.

He will be missed by his family and friends who loved him in this life but be reunited with so many family and friends in the next, especially his dad.

Family and Friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, 6480 Pearl Road, Parma Hts., OH 44130 on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 11:30 a.m.

Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
