Margaret “Maggie” Francis Sahley (nee Hricik, formerly Mondock) of Parma, age 81, passed away on January 5, 2026. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Joseph and Ruth (Thomas) Hricik on September 26, 1944, a birth date she shared with her son and grandfather.
Maggie is survived by Robert, her husband of forty-four years and devoted caregiver; Denise (Tim) Monnier and Joseph (Audrey) Mondock, her children of whom she was so proud; Jackson Monnier and Olivia Mondock, her precious grandchildren, who she loved so very much; and sister, Susan (Edgardo) Katigbak. Her brother, Paul Hricik, predeceased her.
She enjoyed ice cream, old movies and Hollywood, a good sale, the comfort of human touch, summer nights with the windows open, history, politics, and the nightly news broadcast. She kept everything organized with the help of paperclips and Post-It notes.
Her greatest joy was being with her children and grandchildren, and eating “supper” with her family, all while enjoying an occasional libation.
Memorial private.
