Magdalene "Madge" M. Arendt

(nee Aschauer), age 105

Passed away peacefully on August 5, 2026. She lived a long, full and grace-filled life defined by devotion to her family and faith.

Beloved wife of the late Robert E. Arendt Sr.; loving mother of Robert (Kathleen), Christine Brindle (James), Eric (deceased) (Kathleen, surviving), Beverly Porter (Thomas), and Anita Yaple (G.R., deceased); cherished grandmother of Michelle Arendt McGrath (Jay), Andrea Arendt, Stephen Brindle, Rachel Temkin (Jesse), David Brindle (Jennifer), Rebecca Barona (Kenny), Mathew Porter (Anne), Gina Roberts, Elizabeth Cameron (Mark), Russell Yaple (Oliva), Anna Boggs (Cody), and Grace Kaman (Michael); great grandmother of 21.

Family will receive friends at the Mallchok Funeral Home, 5660 Ridge Road, Parma, OH 44129 on Sunday, August 9, 2026 from  4 – 8 p.m. Rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m.

Prayer Services Monday, August 10, 2026 at the funeral home at 12 noon. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 5891 Ridge Road, Parma, OH 44129 at 12:30 p.m.

Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery immediately after the mass.
