Passed away peacefully at Metro General Hospital on Sunday, January 23, 2022, where he was being treated for Covid 19.
He is survived by his three children Michael, Regina and Kenneth, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Michael Medvetz, known to friends and family as "Mink", was born on May 20, 1924 in Cambridge, Ohio. He married the love of his life, Magdalene (d. October, 2007) and moved to the Cleveland area. He took a job at the Parma Chevrolet plant where he was employed for more than 35 years and retired in 1986. Michael and Maggie raised their family on Liberty Avenue in Parma, where he resided the rest of his life.
Michael enjoyed his garden immensely and could often be found tending it on a summer day. He also enjoyed fishing and would tell stories about the big ones that got away. He was an avid reader of westerns by such authors as Louis L'Amour and Zane Grey, and was a big fan of Johnny Cash. Michael was a skilled euchre player, especially when the stakes were high. His kind nature, sense of humor and ready laughter will be missed by all who knew him.
Services will be private.
