Beloved wife of John A. (deceased); loving mother of Jeffrey M. (Cathy) and the following deceased: John R. and James P.; dear grandmother of Grace and Olivia; sister of the following deceased: Fred Mitro, John Mitro, Agnes Mason, Elsie McCormick (Lawson), and Dorothy Dudley; dear aunt.
Born in Oberlin, Ohio, LaVerne was a trusted friend who would happily lend a helping hand at a moment’s notice. She loved her family, traditions, and polka music. LaVerne’s strong faith in the Lord was clearly evident by those who were touched by her kindness. She was a past member of St. Columbkille’s Ladies Guild.
Family will receive friends at the Mallchok Funeral Home, 5660 Ridge Road, Parma, OH on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 4 – 7 p.m.
Prayer Services Saturday, March 2, 2024 at the funeral home at 9:15 a.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Columbkille Catholic Church at 10 a.m.
Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
