Dearly beloved husband of Lois (nee Stevens) (deceased); loving father of Patricia Knerem (Rich), Karen Lihani (Pavel, deceased), and Jeffery Gormish (deceased); cherished grandfather of Jillian Tipton (Seth), Caralynn Wilczewski (James McCann), and Amanda Edwards (Eric); dear great grandfather of Remy, Ellis, and Brittany; devoted son of Michael and Mary Gormish (both deceased). Joseph is predeceased by eight siblings.

U.S. Army Veteran.

Family will receive friends at the Mallchok Funeral Home, 5660 Ridge Road, Parma, OH on Friday, June 5, 2026 from 9 – 10 a.m. Funeral Services will begin at 10 a.m.

Interment with Military Honors will follow at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery.
