Jon James Malakar

Born on May 13, 1943. Passed away at home on Monday, December 22, 2025.

Beloved husband of Mitzi, father to Nicholas and Christopher, treasured brother of Dorothy and devoted grandfather to Julia, Nathaniel, and Alyssa.

He leaves behind wonderful memories for the family and friends as he travelled this journey. He will be tremendously missed by all of us.

U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran.

Family will receive friends at the Mallchok Funeral Home, 5660 Ridge Road, Parma, OH on Monday, December 29, 2025 from 3 - 7 p.m.

Funeral Services Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. with V. Rev. Fr. Mijoljub Matic officiating.

Interment with Military Honors will follow at St. Theodosius Cemetery.
