Passed away on August 22, 2024.

Beloved husband of Dr. Kathleen Grieser; devoted son of John R. and Elsie (nee Demian) Chipka (both deceased); loving brother of Bill Chipka (Betty) of Buffalo, N.Y.; dearest nephew of Emma Kmet; dear brother-in-law, uncle, and friend of many.

John loved Opera and Music. He was a long-time board member of the American Slovak Sokol Camp.
