JOHN L. MOORE

Age 93. Formerly of Seven Hills, Ohio, died on September 14, 2020 in Norwalk, Ohio. John was born on February 6, 1927, in Cleveland, Ohio and was raised on the Martin family farm in Collins, Ohio. He graduated from Townsend High School in 1946. John enlisted in the Army where he served as a lineman. After his discharge, he moved to Cleveland. John worked for the Illuminating Company as an underground electrician until his retirement in 1987. He was an avid golfer and poker player. John was known by his neighbors to be willing and able to fix anything and everything. John was preceded in death by his wife Mary Elizabeth in 2006 and he is survived by his family: Anne Knoble (Jerry), Bob Martin, Pat Martin (Sue), and Mary Kay Cillo (Steve). There will be no visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 5891 Ridge Rd., Parma, OH 44129 on Friday, September 18, 2020 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
