Beloved wife of Neil D. (deceased); loving mother of Kristina A. (deceased) and Nicholas (Lyndsey); cherished grandmother of Juliana, Kyra and Cecelia; dear sister of Edward Dean (deceased) and Judy Kish; dear aunt and friend of many.

Joan was an educator in the Parma School System for 35 years. She taught kindergarten at State Road School in Parma, Ohio.

Family will receive friends at the Mallchok Funeral Home, 5660 Ridge Road, Parma, OH on Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Parastas at 7 p.m. Funeral Services Friday, March 25, 2022 at Archangel Michael Orthodox Church, 5025 East Mill Road, Broadview Heights, OH 44147 at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Theodosius Cemetery.
