Inez C. Gokoo

Inez C. Gokoo, of Pontiac, IL, died Sunday, April 24, 2022, at 2:45 a.m. at OSF St. James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center in Pontiac, IL.

Inez was born on September 23, 1932, in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of Charles and Agnes Maier. She married Dr. Federico Gokoo on January 5, 1952, in Cleveland, Ohio. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include three children, Charles (Cynthia) Gokoo, Robert (Denise) Gokoo, Jeanette McAllister; grandchildren, Ryan (Joyce) McAllister and Erika (Chris) Curry; great-grandchildren, Tyler Curry, Brennan Curry, and Reagyn Curry. Inez was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pontiac, IL.

Her funeral mass was held on Monday, May 2, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pontiac, IL with Fr. Adam Cesarek officiating.

Visitation will be held at the Mallchok Funeral Home, 5660 Ridge Road, Parma, OH on Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 11 a.m. until noon prior to burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio.
