Gerald “Jerry” Robert Weidokal Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gerald “Jerry” Robert Weidokal Jr., a beloved husband, father and grandfather, who passed away on December 18, 2025, at the age of 86.

Jerry was born on February 16, 1939, in Cleveland, Ohio to Gerald Weidokal Sr. and Rose Weidokal. Throughout his life he was dedicated to his family.

Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Weidokal, and his sister, Barbara (Jim) Maher. He is survived by his three children, Michael Weidokal, Theresa Weidokal and Kevin Weidokal, as well as his four grandchildren, Kate Weidokal, Jack Weidokal, Daniel Weidokal and Abigail Weidokal. He also leaves behind two other sisters, Katherine (Dave - deceased) John and Marie (Paul) Bargiel, as well as numerous friends and relatives.

Jerry graduated from West Tech High School in 1957 and later served his country in the United States Navy. Afterwards, he worked 17 years at Warner and Swasey, and 18 years for Cuyahoga County.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the interment with Military Honors which will take place at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Rittman, Ohio 44273 on Monday, December 22, 2025 at 12:45 p.m. (Please arrive around 10 minutes early, the procession will be assembling by the office building near the entrance to the cemetery.)
