Estelle (Stedronsky) Sako "Babe"

Age 92

Loving daughter of James and Stella Stedronsky (both deceased); beloved wife of Edward James Sako (deceased) and Bud English (deceased) and cherished mother of Cindy Thompson, Jeff (Jayne), Doug English (Holly), Chris English Roblin (Bill), Mary English Oldag (Ken), Randy, Michelle Toth (Ken), and Pattie Thomas; sister of June Zajac (Chester) and the following deceased: Ray Sted (Emily), Evelyn Jacobs (John), Walter, Bob Stedron (Mary), Lillian Kocka (Elmer), Jack; dear grandmother of twelve, great-grandmother of nine, aunt and great-aunt of many.

Her family celebrates a life of faith, service, generosity, commitment, and courage.

After Ed and Babe each lost their first spouses (Lena Casale Sako and Bud English), they met, fell in love, and created a beautiful and much larger family together.

Babe's life was always about service to family and friends. Even with a family of eight children, Babe found time to be the neighborhood mom who always had extra children in the yard, care for extended family members, and participate in the Holy Family Holy Name Society, Parish Senior Club, Parish Festival Volunteers, and the local Homemakers Club. Her devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mother was an example of great faith to her family.

She was strong, but gentle-spirited. She was overall the perfect mom. We will dearly miss her, but she leaves us overwhelmingly grateful.

Family will receive visitors at the Mallchok Funeral Home, 5660 Ridge Road, Parma, OH on Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Prayer Services Friday, May 3, 2024 at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Catholic Church, 7367 York Road, Parma, OH 44130 at 10:00 a.m.

Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
