Elsie A. (Moravcik) Krajny

Age 99

Beloved wife of Stephen (deceased); loving mother of Stephen Krajny and Karen Buyansky; dear grandmother of Nicole Stiffler, Cheandra Donaldson (Scott), Shelley Krajny, and Daniel Krajny; great grandmother of Samantha Watson, Jacob Watson, Clifford Oravec III, Logan Donaldson, Dashton Donaldson, and the late River Donaldson; dearest sister of Gerry Grabel and seven deceased brothers and sisters; loving aunt, neighbor, and friend of many.

From an early age, Elsie had a strong work ethic that started at the family business, Sixth City Wire Works. After marrying Steve, she enjoyed housekeeping and raising her two children. Elsie's passion was caring for her family, which included cooking, ironing (back in the day), cleaning (on Friday), grocery shopping (on Saturday), and gardening and canning.

Her faith was important, as was church attendance and volunteering. She was also an avid bowler and tried her hand at golf.

Once Steve retired and the kids were older, Elsie rejoined the workforce in food service until she was 74 years old. She prided herself on doing mental math quicker than the register and bringing a smile to the employees she served.

Family was always Elsie's priority, making herself available to all her siblings in times of need.  In her later years, she cherished her bus trips, internet cafes (with partner in crime Gerry), casinos, holidays, family gatherings, and family vacations.

Elsie was blessed with a long and full life. All who knew her will continue to be blessed with the many fun memories they had with Elsie.

Family will receive friends at the Mallchok Funeral Home, 5660 Ridge Road, Parma, OH on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. Funeral Services will begin at 12 noon.

Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, family prefers donations to the Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 E. 185th Street, Cleveland OH 44119 or to a charity of your choice.
