Obituary
Elaine Houseman, age 87, of Parma Heights, passed away May 15, 2023. Dear companion of over 50 years to Otto Schutte (deceased May 11, 2023).
Elaine enjoyed traveling the world, taking bus trips, flower gardening, attending church, baking, golfing, playing mah-jongg, and sharing holidays, birthdays, events, adventures, lunches, and time with Otto, her family, and her many friends.
She researched and embraced her ancestry and dearly cherished the items hand made by her mother, grandmother, and other family members and friends.
Elaine will be missed by everyone whose lives she shared.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass in her memory at Holy Family Catholic Church, 7367 York Road, Parma, OH 44130 on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 10 a.m.
Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to a favorite charity.
