Eileen Ann Johnson

Eileen Ann Johnson passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at the age of 82 years.

Eileen was the daughter of the late Albert E. Zernitz and Anna Zernitz (nee Brdar). She was the beloved wife of the late William R. Johnson; dear sister of Albert (Christine); cherished mother of Robert Johnson (Maureen), Sharon Schapel (Randy), and Michael Johnson (Lisset); loving grandmother of Daniel and Grace Schapel, and Gabriela and Michael Johnson.

Throughout her career she worked as a school nurse at Cleveland area Catholic schools and a nurse in obstetrics and psychiatry.  A lover of celebrations, Eileen’s favorite holiday was Christmas. She also loved celebrating the Fourth of July and St. Patrick’s Day. She was an avid sports fan, enjoyed traveling, volunteering, and spending quality time with her friends, children and grandchildren.

Family will receive friends at the Mallchok Funeral Home, 5660 Ridge Road, Parma, OH on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Prayer Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 5891 Ridge Road, Parma, OH 44129 at 11 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
