Age 94. Loving son of Stephen and Anna (nee Vidra); beloved husband of Estelle "Babe" (nee Stedronsky) and cherished father of Cindy Thompson, Jeff (Jayne), Doug English (Holly), Chris English Roblin (Bill), Mary English Oldag (Ken), Randy, Michelle Toth (Ken), and Pattie Thomas; brother of the following deceased: Cyril (Catherine), Josephine Fuhrman (Clarence), Stephen (Pauline), Rose Zigman (Frank), Andrew (Elsie), Mary, Albert (Dorothy) and Florence; dear grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and great-uncle of many. His family celebrates a life of faith, service, generosity, commitment, and courage. A WWII veteran, long-time employee of the General Motors Parma Plant, and member of the Holy Family parish community, Ed had much to be proud of. But he always felt his greatest accomplishment was his family. After Ed and Babe each lost their first spouses (Lena Casale Sako and Bud English), they met, fell in love, and created a family together. In his "spare time" Ed was a master craftsman, furniture builder, nut roll baker, coach, fan of all sports, prankster, and generally perfect Dad. We will dearly miss him, but he leaves us profoundly grateful. FAMILY WILL RECEIVE VISITORS AT THE MALLCHOK FUNERAL HOME, 5660 RIDGE RD., PARMA, OH on Monday, Oct. 19, 2020 from 4:00-6:00 PM.
