Age 92. Beloved husband of Mary L. (nee Laurie) (deceased); loving father of Anna Smolik (Gerald), Helen Stephens (Mark), Steven Bobulsky (Mary Kathleen), and Rose Wilkolak (Jerry); grandfather and great-grandfather of many.
In addition to being a proud and loving Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather, Edward proudly served his country as a member of the Ohio National Guard’s 37th Engineering Brigade during the early 1950s. He also proudly served as a Cantor for Holy Ghost and Holy Spirit Byzantine Church for over 50 years becoming an Icon of the church in his own right. Edward retired from the City of Brook Park where he worked as a truck driver in 1996 after many years of service.
Family will receive friends at the Mallchok Funeral Home, 5660 Ridge Road, Parma, OH. Wednesday, February 17, 2021 from 4-8 p.m. Parastas Wednesday at 5 p.m. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Holy Spirit Byzantine Catholic Church, 5500 W. 54th Street, Parma, OH 44129 at 11 a.m. Social distancing and masks required at the funeral home and at church. Interment to follow at Holy Spirit Cemetery.
