EDMUND P. FARRIS, Sr.

Age 88. Passed away peacefully at home on February 2, 2021. Dearly beloved husband of Geraldine for 58 years; loving father of Dr. Edmund Farris Jr. (Jean), Sherri Farris, and the late Pamela Rose Farris; cherished grandfather of Paul, Jenna and Christa; dear brother of Ramon (Helen), Corrine George (Tom, deceased) and the following deceased: Richard Farris, Louis Farris (Corrine), Ruth Meena (V. Rev. Fr. James C. Meena) and Dolores Hanna (Halim); dear uncle and great uncle of many.

Veteran U.S. Navy. Private Gathering (immediate family only) followed by Funeral Services will be held at St. George Orthodox Church, 3204 Ridgewood Rd., Akron, OH 44333 on Saturday, February 6, 2021 beginning at 11 a.m. Officiating V. Rev. Fr. John Al-Assaf. Interment at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery, Cleveland, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in Edmund’s memory.
