Beverly was a lifelong resident of Cleveland, Ohio who passed away on November 26, 2022 at the age of 82. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, and friend of many. Beverly was the firstborn to Joseph and Agnes Zak and her brother, Joey came three years later. All three beloved family members preceded her in death, Beverly was a talented athlete in her youth and excelled at golf, bowling, and roller skating and was a member of “The Sabres Roller Skating Club.”
She was passionate about her hometown teams, the Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes. Beverly was an exceptional cook, sewist, gardener, and floral arranger and will be fondly remembered for her chicken croquets, Christmas cookies, her handmade wedding dress, her prolific garden produce and countless centerpieces, wreaths, and boughs for every occasion.
Beverly’s husband, Ronald passed away in 2002. She is survived by her son, Scott Boylan (wife, Ellie); loving grandmother of Kat and Daniel; dearest sister-in-law of Jean Walker; beloved aunt of Hope Andrews and Heather Wray; dear stepmother of Rob McMullen (wife, Shelby) and Russell McMullen (wife, Kim); dearest step-grandmother of Reilly.
Family will receive friends at the Mallchok Funeral Home, 5660 Ridge Road, Parma, OH on Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Interment will immediately follow at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery.
