On December 18, 2022, Alan J. Herrmann passed peacefully while surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with cancer. Al was born the oldest of five on March 11, 1942 in Parma, Ohio.
Al is survived by his loving wife, Marge of 57 years. His children; Kim VanTassel (Greg Kruzel), Laura Przeslica (Dan), Mark Herrmann (Shirley Thompson), and Dawn Abruzzino (Rob). His grandchildren; Brittany Przeslica (Tony Reichert), Kayla Lewis (Jesse), Michael Herrmann, Harley VanTassel, Eric Abruzzino, and Emily Abruzzino. His great-grandchild; Jackson Reichert. He was preceded in death by his Mother and Father; Alfred and Elinor Herrmann. His siblings; Dickie, Donald, Robert, and Elinor Herrmann.
Al has touched so many lives through his family, career, church, and his journey with cancer and will be greatly missed by all.
A Memorial Visitation and Service will be held at the Mallchok Funeral Home, 5660 Ridge Road, Parma, OH 44129 on Friday, December 30th, 2022. Visitation hours will be from 4pm - 8pm with a service at 4:30pm.
