Ardelle was a tap dancer, and an excellent softball player. She was taken out of school at 15 to help at home when her mother got sick. When her mother was dying, she promised her mother she would take care of her brothers. When Labbie was stationed in the Navy, she worked for Ships Services. She taught Sunday school. She and her sister-in-law, Emily, owned a children’s clothing store at Kamms Corners.
She and her sisters-in-law had a club that met once a month called Secret Sisters Club.
She always had a spread of food at her table no matter when you dropped by! Eat, eat, eat.
She has always said, she has no regrets! She was the most wonderful sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt, friend to so many Ganims and Georges.
